Residential Complex PRIME HOUSE — a premium-class residential complex in the historic centre of Novosibirsk, designed by architects Olga Lukyanchikova and Vladimir Fefelov. The architectural image of the building is built on the intentional combination of different plastic languages — from a more classical base to a light glazed high-rise section.

The composition of the complex appears dynamic due to the offset and rotation of the upper volume relative to the base. Because of this, the tower is perceived not as a static vertical, but as a more complex spatial structure that changes character depending on the viewing point.

One of the key facade materials becomes pre-painted aluminium. In the lower part of the building, light metal panels are used as a modern interpretation of stone cladding, forming a denser and more monumental base. Higher up, the metal works in a darker range and interacts with structural glazing, emphasising the contrast between the two parts of the architectural composition.

Aluminium here is particularly important as a material of transition between different architectural characters. It allows one to maintain the precision of large planes, emphasise the geometry of the building and simultaneously work with light in different ways — from calm matte surfaces to deeper reflective accents.

As a result, PRIME HOUSE is built on the contrast of massiveness and transparency, classical composition and modern high-rise plasticity. Metal helps to unite these different layers into a single architectural image and becomes one of the main tools that forms the character of the building.
