MOD is a premium residential complex in the Maryna Roshcha district of Moscow, developed by MR Group. The architectural concept was created by Kleinewelt Architekten, building the project on principles of modernist architecture — clean lines, precise proportions and expressive contrast of materials. The complex composition brings together three high-rise towers and two nine-storey club houses. The strict vertical volumes of the towers form a laconic silhouette, while the more sculptural low-rise buildings become emotional accents in the overall composition. Natural metals play a special role in the architecture of the club houses. The facade cladding uses natural copper S.Copper and brass S.Brass, which contrast with the more restrained stone surfaces of the high-rise buildings. Natural metal changes its surface character over time. Light, reflections and the gradual natural ageing of copper and brass create a living facade.
