MERIDIAN APARTMENTS Residential Complex
1/ 9
MERIDIAN APARTMENTS — a business-class residential complex in central Almaty, located at the intersection of Seifullin Avenue and Makatayev Street. The project is developed by Sensata Group and forms a dense urban block with variable storey heights and an enclosed inner courtyard.
The complex architecture combines clear geometry, large window openings and a calm contemporary palette. Buildings of varying heights form a unified urban frontage, and the facade rhythm helps visually divide the extended volumes and make the block more dynamic.
The primary facade material is fibre cement panels. Their large format emphasises the concise structure of the buildings and creates an even, calm surface that highlights deep window recesses and vertical divisions.
Metal elements play a more subtle role — in details, frames and structural joints, supporting the precision of the facade geometry and interacting with the glazing. This allows the architecture to maintain its contemporary character without becoming visually heavy with decorative devices.
As a result, MERIDIAN APARTMENTS is perceived as a unified urban block where strict geometry, large facade planes and glazing create a calm and contemporary architectural expression.
