GRANDO is a 30-storey residential skyscraper in Novosibirsk, the architectural concept of which was developed by the bureau «Proekt AN». The high-rise volume creates a notable accent in the urban panorama, and its image is based on a combination of glass, metal and concise vertical geometry. One of the key techniques is continuous panoramic glazing. The large area of glass surfaces makes the facade visually lighter and creates a mirror-like shell effect, reflecting the sky and surrounding urban environment. Metal supports this architectural logic and emphasizes the strict rhythm of the high-rise building. The cladding employs a ventilated facade system, and metal elements with dark graphite coating form a contrasting frame for large glazing planes. This gives the facade additional depth and reads more clearly from distant points in the city. The combination of glass and metal is particularly expressive with changing lighting. During the day, mirror surfaces reflect the sky and visually dissolve part of the volume, while dark metal elements maintain the geometry and vertical rhythm of the facade.

As a result, GRANDO is perceived as an integral contemporary high-rise object where metal does not compete with glazing but assembles the transparent shell into a strict architectural composition.
