Residential Complex "GAGARIN PARK"

Residential Complex GAGARIN PARK is a residential project in Almaty designed by INK Architects. The project's architecture combines modern and neoclassical motifs, reinterpreted in a contemporary urban context. The stepped composition of the buildings, expressive verticals and careful detailing create a coherent and distinctive silhouette of the complex.
One of the key facade materials is aluminium. Metal panels are used in combination with granite, travertine and large-scale glazing, adding a lighter and more plastic layer to the architecture.
Metal is particularly expressive in the upper parts of the buildings and on individual facade accents. The deep greenish-blue effect resembles naturally patinated copper and creates a characteristic contrast with warmer mineral surfaces.
Depending on natural lighting, the aluminium changes in saturation and depth: in bright sunlight the surface becomes more active and reflective, while in diffuse light it acquires a calm, deep character. Because of this, the metal is not perceived as flat cladding and enhances the complex geometry of the facades.
As a result, GAGARIN PARK is built on a balance of classical architectural motifs and contemporary materiality. Stone provides the facades with monumentality, glass adds lightness, and aluminium becomes an expressive colour and plastic accent that unifies the composition of the complex.
