Arthouse Club House is a residential project in the historic centre of Saint Petersburg, designed by Mamoshin Architectural Workshop. The architecture combines traditional Saint Petersburg techniques — courtyard, bay windows, pediments, and mansard silhouette — with contemporary material expression and facade plasticity. The lower floors are clad with clinker brick, forming a denser, more classical base. Higher up, the architectural character shifts: upper floors and roof are unified by an aluminium envelope with a patinated copper effect, giving the building an expressive crown-like finish. Metal plays a key role in shaping the silhouette. It flows seamlessly from the facades onto the sloped roof, unifying the upper section into a single surface. The deep green-copper tone of the aluminium echoes Saint Petersburg's historical palette and conveys the impression of naturally aged metal.

Under different lighting conditions, the surface reveals itself differently: on overcast days it appears deeper and more subdued, while bright sunlight brings out complex metallic iridescence. Against the warm brick, the aluminium reads with particular expressiveness, amplifying the contrast between the classical base and the more sculptural crown.

Thus Arthouse is built on a precise dialogue between tradition and contemporary materiality. Brick connects the house to its historical urban context, while aluminium defines its distinctive silhouette and gives the architecture unity.
