Residential Complex "Aquatoria"
1/ 7
Dostyq 300 — a low-rise residential complex of premium class in the Medeu District of Almaty, located in close proximity to a mountain landscape. The project's architecture is based on intimate scale, clean proportions and a combination of natural and technological materials.
The foundation of the facade composition is formed by light natural stone, which gives the buildings a calm and monumental character. Against its background, aluminium elements work particularly effectively — they emphasize the geometry of windows, balconies and individual parts of the facade, adding a more contemporary tone to the architecture.
Metal is used here restrainedly and does not compete with stone. The smooth surface of aluminium creates a contrast with the natural texture of the cladding, and in natural light reflects the surrounding light and makes the facades visually lighter.
Large windows and glass railings strengthen the connection of living spaces with the surrounding landscape. Due to this, dense stone volumes become more open, and aluminium and glass form a thin graphic layer against the background of light architecture.
As a result, Dostyq 300 is perceived as a calm and integral residential ensemble, where natural stone sets the main materiality, and aluminium emphasizes the details, rhythm and precision of contemporary architecture.
