Interregional Competence Centre — S.P. Korolev Technical College — a modern educational centre in Korolev, created to train construction industry specialists and host professional competitions under WorldSkills standards. The architectural project was developed by GAFA Architects.

The centre's architecture is built on a combination of concise geometry, large-scale glazing and expressive metallic surfaces. The compact building volume achieves a clear rhythm through facade articulation and color accents, which emphasize its contemporary educational character.

Pre-painted aluminium becomes one of the key facade materials. Metal panels form clean surfaces, emphasize individual volumes and add visual depth to the building.

The golden aluminium elements are particularly striking. Under natural light, the metal changes in intensity — from a more subdued matte tone to bright metallic sheen. As a result, the facade remains concise while gaining a more complex and memorable character.

In combination with glass, aluminium underscores the centre's technological character and makes the architecture visually lighter. The result is a building perceived as a modern educational environment, where metal, light and precise geometry form a unified architectural image.
