Shelepikha Moscow Metro Station — a station on the Big Circle Line, opened in 2018. The station's architecture is built on a combination of light stone surfaces, large metal elements and pronounced vertical geometry, which creates a strict and contemporary appearance of the space.

One of the key interior materials is aluminium. Metal panels are used in ceiling finishes and certain wall sections, creating large even planes and emphasising the length of the platform area.

Aluminium is particularly expressive in combination with integrated lighting. Light lines run along the metal surfaces, emphasise the rhythm of structural elements and visually extend the station space. As a result, the ceiling appears lighter despite the large scale of the underground structure.

The restrained metal colour range is complemented by natural stone and dark contrasting elements. This combination makes the interior more composed and graphic, while different textures help avoid monotony.

Metal plays primarily an architectural role here: aluminium surfaces maintain precise geometry of the station, reflect light and link individual interior elements into a unified system.

As a result, Shelepikha acquires a laconic and technology-driven appearance, where aluminium, stone and light work together to create a contemporary and visually cohesive space.
