Office Centre in Green City Residential Complex
1/ 10
Office Centre in Green City Residential Complex — part of the mixed-use Green City complex in Astana, whose architectural concept was developed by INK Architects. The project combines residential and business functions in a single system, with significant attention paid to energy efficiency, microclimate, and the interaction of buildings with the surrounding landscape.
The architecture of the office centre is built on a combination of strict geometry, extensive glazing, and expressive metallic elements. Glass surfaces make the volume visually lighter, while aluminium emphasizes the vertical rhythm of the facade and adds depth to it.
One of the key accents becomes golden aluminium. Metallic elements in the Olympic Gold shade work particularly effectively in natural lighting: in bright sunlight, the surface acquires rich golden radiance, while in diffuse light it becomes calmer and more matte.
The metal here is not perceived as a separate decorative layer. It helps bring large glass surfaces into a single composition, emphasizes the proportions of the building, and creates a warmer contrast with the cool transparency of glass.
As a result, the office centre receives a contemporary and restrained architectural image, in which glass is responsible for lightness and openness, while golden aluminium is responsible for rhythm, depth, and visual identity of the facade.
