FORESTER Guest Houses in the Mountains of Krasnodar Krai
1/ 11
FORESTER — guest houses in the mountains of Krasnodar Krai, whose architecture is built on a subtle interaction with the natural landscape. Compact volumes, expressive roof geometry and restrained material palette allow the buildings to integrate organically against the backdrop of forest and mountain terrain.
Metal becomes one of the key elements of the architectural expression. The project uses material in a deep green shade with the effect of natural copper patina. The colour supports the surrounding natural palette while simultaneously making the roof and facade elements more visually striking.
The material reveals itself particularly interestingly under different lighting conditions. On overcast days, the surface appears calmer and deeper, while in sunlight, complex green and copper nuances emerge. Thanks to this, the metal is not perceived as a uniform surface and constantly changes with the surrounding landscape.
In the FORESTER project, colour works not as a separate decorative accent, but as a connecting link between architecture and nature. The metal surfaces continue the tones of the forest, emphasise the geometry of the buildings and help create a cohesive, serene image of the guest houses in a mountain setting.
