Kindergarten in Green Park Residential Complex — an educational facility in Moscow designed by BuroMoscow. The building's architecture is based on the image of a children's toy sorter: a strict cubic volume with a regular facade mesh is complemented by diverse hall spaces that seem to "emerge" from the building's overall geometry.

The main facade material is pre-painted aluminium. A light metallic envelope forms a calm background for the building's complex plasticity and helps emphasise the precision of its geometry. Convex reveals and deep window openings create relief, allowing the facade to actively engage with light and shadow.

A distinctive feature of the aluminium surface is a subtle colour-shift effect depending on lighting and viewing angle. In bright sunlight, the metal becomes lighter and more shimmering, while in diffuse light it acquires a calm silvery depth. Due to this, the laconic facade does not appear static and transforms throughout the day.

The strictness of the metallic envelope is softened by large windows with wooden frames and vibrant volumes of specialist halls. This contrast makes the architecture simultaneously refined and playful — functional for an educational space, yet comprehensible and emotionally resonant for a child.

As a result, aluminium becomes an important part of the building's overall concept: it unifies the facade into a cohesive system, emphasises the depth of openings, and allows light to constantly change the perception of the architecture.
