Bolshoe Savino Airport — a new passenger terminal in Perm, whose architectural design was developed by ASADOV. The concept was based on the theme of Perm's wooden sculpture tradition: the main facade element is a monumental "angel wing" that appears to hover above the entrance group. Pre-painted aluminium played a key role in realizing this vision. The curved structure is clad with 3D aluminium panels in a golden shade with PVDF coating. The metal surface was carefully selected to evoke the warm texture of golden wood and to reveal itself differently in daylight and evening illumination. Metal here becomes more than just cladding — it is the primary carrier of architectural expression. Its plasticity enabled precise reproduction of the complex wing geometry, while the golden surface enhances the sense of lightness and movement, especially against the terminal's glazing. Additional facade elements are executed in white and gray tones, allowing the golden aluminium to remain the primary visual accent of the composition. The result is a facade perceived as a unified sculptural shell, where metal, light, and complex geometry create the airport's distinctive identity.
